چکیده مقاله :
MIL-53(Al), a metal-organic framework material has been synthesized by conventional electric (CE) heating and by ultrasound (UTS) irradiation to develop rapid and energy efficient alternative synthesis techniques. The operating conditions of each of the synthesis methods were varied to study their effects on product yield and crystallinity. The product yields from ultrasound irradiation were observed to be less than those obtained from conventional electric heating. Highly crystalline materials were synthesized from CE heating. ultrasound irradiation shows small and homogeneous crystals and rapidly produced, whereas CE heating showed that the samples are two different morphologies. The energy consumption of UTS irradiation were also shown to be far less than CE heating, it is evident that this technology is quicker, more efficient and greener alternative to conventional synthesis method.
